Privacy notice

How information is handled when you visit our website, contact us or are involved in an engagement.

Who we are

Bulca & Partners F.Z.E is based at Office C1-1F-SF9452, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Contact info@bulcapartners.com with privacy questions or requests. This notice covers website visitors, business contacts and individuals whose information is relevant to our work.

Website visits and enquiries

Your browser sends technical information needed to request and display pages, including your IP address, browser information and requested URLs. Hosting and infrastructure services may process this information to deliver and secure the website. The website does not include advertising or analytics trackers.

The enquiry form prepares an email in your own email application. Entering details does not submit them to a Bulca intake service. You decide whether to send the email. Once sent, the message and its attachments are processed by the email services involved and received in our business mailbox. Please do not include subject records or sensitive documents in an initial enquiry.

Information used in engagements

Depending on the agreed assignment, relevant information may include identity and business contact details, employment and qualification records, corporate positions and ownership, public filings, litigation, sanctions and political-exposure records, and relevant media coverage. Sources may include the client, the individual, public authorities, licensed services and lawful enquiries.

Research can affect people who have not contacted us directly. The purpose, applicable legal basis, required notices and any lawful exceptions depend on the particular engagement. Public availability is not a blanket permission to use personal information.

Purposes and legal basis

We use business correspondence to respond to enquiries, scope services and manage working relationships. Engagement information is used for the agreed research and reporting purpose, quality review and applicable recordkeeping obligations.

The basis depends on the processing and applicable law. It may include steps requested before a contract, contractual necessity where the individual is a party, legal obligations, valid consent, or legitimate interests where permitted and supported by a balancing assessment. Sensitive information and criminal records require any additional conditions prescribed by law. This notice does not itself create a lawful basis.

Recipients and international handling

Information may be handled by authorised staff, approved research or technology providers, and agreed report recipients where necessary for the purpose. Disclosures to advisers or authorities may be required or otherwise lawful. We do not sell enquiry details for advertising.

Cross-border assignments may involve processing in the UAE and other countries. Transfer arrangements depend on the providers, destinations and law applicable to the assignment. Ask us for the arrangements relevant to your enquiry or engagement. A client instruction alone does not remove those requirements.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the record’s purpose. Enquiry correspondence is relevant while an enquiry or resulting relationship is active; further retention depends on outstanding disputes, applicable recordkeeping duties or other documented needs. Engagement evidence follows the agreed audit and recordkeeping requirements, subject to applicable law. Technical logs support operation and security. Contact us for the period or criteria applying to a particular record.

The appropriate storage and exchange arrangements depend on the sensitivity and purpose of the information. Do not send sensitive records through an ordinary first-contact email; ask us to agree a suitable channel.

Your rights and concerns

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, you may have rights to information, access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also have the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.

Email info@bulcapartners.com with enough detail to locate the relevant matter. We may need proportionate identity verification. Requests are assessed within applicable legal time limits and with regard to lawful exceptions and the rights of others. Please do not send an identity-document copy unless requested through an appropriate channel.

Human assessment and updates

The website makes no automated eligibility or risk decisions. Our Code of Conduct requires meaningful human review of findings. This notice will be updated when the services or handling arrangements change. Engagement-specific information may supplement it.
